The Board of Education meeting held on June 17, 2025, has released its video recording. Mrs. Kim Maher expressed gratitude towards MSD114 staff and families for their adaptability in adjusting to emergency days. She acknowledged Lisa Lee and MSD families for their role in registration planning for next year’s enrollment.
Mrs. Cheryl Donovan commended staff for supporting student learning and growth throughout the year. She also appreciated their participation in Eureka Math Squared training and efforts to improve literacy instruction.
Mrs. Julie Hantson reported that MIS's resource team restructured support delivery from a grade-level model to a subject-based model to enhance instructional practices.
Ms. Cari Rohe described recent activities at Wilson Creek, including teacher training on a new math curriculum and end-of-year events despite weather challenges.
Mrs. Elise Kirk thanked Anna McDonald staff for establishing a positive climate in their first year as a 2nd and 3rd-grade building.
Mr. Ryan McWilliams acknowledged contributions from officers Rob & Shannon for cyber safety talks, Jackie O'Hara for CPR presentations, and others who facilitated planning with staff at MIS.
Mr. Vince Perillo highlighted MJHS's first graduation ceremony on school grounds and other significant events like Room 500 News and athletic achievements.
