Providence Catholic High School was recently featured on ABC7 Chicago’s Friday Flyover, a segment that highlights local schools and their communities. The broadcast showcased the school’s students, staff, and various programs to viewers across the Chicagoland area.
According to the school, more than 350 students and staff participated in the event to represent Providence Catholic during the live segment. The coverage included features on academic teams such as the Math Team, which has won seven regional championships, as well as highlights of extracurricular groups like robotics and engines classes. State champion dance and cheer teams were also part of the spotlight.
Athletic achievements were noted with mentions of wrestling, softball, volleyball, and cross country athletes who have broken records or competed at state-level competitions. The broadcast also included interviews with members of the student council, the school president, and principal.
