In the 2022-23 school year, 59% of Manhattan Junior High School students failed the mathematics portion of the IAR test, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.
Students who are planning to attend Lincoln-Way next fall and have not yet taken the PSAT 8/9 due to attending a private or home school, or being absent when their school administered the test, will need to complete this assessment for placement purposes. Three opportunities are available for students to take the test: during the day, in the evening, and on a weekend. These options are open to all incoming students regardless of which campus they plan to attend.

Lincoln-Way West's Theater Company is set to present its fall play, "Rosie the Riveter," with performances scheduled from Thursday to Saturday at the Lincoln-Way West Performing Arts Center.
