Providence Catholic High School has opened registration for its Fall Athletic Clinics, inviting students from kindergarten through eighth grade to participate in a range of sports camps. The clinics are designed to help young athletes improve their skills and engage with peers.
Camp options include baseball for grades 1-8, softball for grades 6-8, dance for grades K-8, and cheer for grades K-8. Fees vary by camp, with baseball priced at $20, softball at $25, and both dance and cheer at $50 each.
The registration process requires detailed student information such as name, address, current school, grade level in the fall, t-shirt size (for dance and cheer), phone number, gender, and parent or guardian contact details. There is also a section to note any medical issues or allergies that organizers should be aware of.
Parents or guardians must complete an indemnity agreement as part of the registration. The form states: "The above-named ACTIVITY PARTICIPANT agrees to defend, protect, indemnify and hold PROVIDENCE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL harmless against and from all claims arising from the negligence or fault of the above-named ACTIVITY PARTICIPANT or any of his/her agents, family members, officers, volunteers, helpers, partners, organizational members or associates which arise out of the above-named SPORT/ACTIVITY at PROVIDENCE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL. Additionally, the above-named ACTIVITY PARTICIPANT agrees to protect, defend, hold harmless and fully indemnify PROVIDENCE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL for any claim or cause of action whatsoever arising out of the above-named SPORT/ACTIVITY which takes place during the above identified DATE(S) OF SUMMER CAMP that is brought against PROVIDENCE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL by the above-named ACTIVITY PARTICIPANT or their family members whether such claim arises from the alleged negligence of PROVIDENCE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL, its employees or agents or ACTIVITY PARTICIPANT’S negligence. If any portion of this agreement is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance thereof shall continue in full legal force and effect."
The form also notifies participants that photos will be taken during camps for marketing and social media purposes.
