Lincoln-Way Community High School District is offering adult welding classes at Lincoln-Way East during the fall and winter seasons. The program features four introductory courses that do not require prior experience.
Each class costs $150 and includes three evening sessions from 6-9pm. The classes are designed to be project-based, giving participants exposure to various welding processes and techniques.
The fall session offers two sets of classes: one on Wednesdays—November 5, 12, and 19—and another on Tuesdays—December 2, 9, and 16. Both will cover Stick/MIG/Art Creation. For winter, classes will be held on Thursdays—January 8, 15, and 22—and Tuesdays—January 27, February 3, and February 10—with a focus on Stick/Brazing/Art Creation.
According to the district’s announcement: "Your participation in this class helps our welding program make needed shop improvements and upgrades."
