The annual Artworks Festival was held at Lincoln-Way East on March 15, featuring over 1,000 pieces of student artwork from the Lincoln-Way area. The event included contributions from students across all grade levels and represented 30 different schools.
Attendees participated in hands-on art workshops such as pottery, scratch art, origami, painting, and jewelry making. These sessions were conducted by Lincoln-Way art teachers and students.
Local artists John Tylk and Ted Fuka provided live professional art demonstrations. Musical performances were given by the Lincoln-Way Youth Orchestra, the Lincoln-Way Youth Strings Chamber Ensemble, and Lincoln-Way guitar students.
"The festival was a tremendous success," organizers stated. "We are grateful for the community’s support in celebrating the incredible talent of our local artists."
