The Triskelion Foundation has announced a scholarship program aimed at incoming freshmen with an interest in the arts. The scholarship is designed to support students participating in band, choir, theatre, or color guard.

The program offers $2,000 annually for four years, totaling $8,000. Eligibility requires applicants to show interest and participation in one or more of the specified programs. Students must maintain involvement through their sophomore year; failure to do so may result in losing the scholarship.

Applicants are required to provide personal details including name, address, grade school information, hobbies, awards, and accomplishments. Two scholarships will be awarded for the 2024/25 academic year. Candidates may also undergo interviews as part of the selection process.

To apply, students need a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 in eighth grade and must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better each year at Providence Catholic High School. A 300-word essay detailing dedication to the arts is mandatory, while a statement on overcoming challenges is optional but encouraged.

Financial information from the latest tax return must be submitted as well. Although financial need is not a requirement for eligibility, it will be considered by the scholarship committee.

All applications must be submitted by February 14, 2025.
