Providence Catholic High School Building | Providence Catholic High School

Young Hearts for Life (YH4L), known as the largest ECG screening program in the United States, is set to offer complimentary electrocardiogram screenings to students at Providence Catholic. The event will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, in the BLC.

The purpose of these screenings is to identify young individuals aged 12-24 who may be at risk for Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Since its inception in 2006, YH4L has screened over 330,000 students and identified more than 3,500 with previously undiagnosed heart conditions. The organization recommends that ECG testing be conducted every two years.

The initiative aims to test nearly all students at Providence Catholic for this potentially life-saving procedure. Parents and guardians are encouraged to register their children and explore volunteer opportunities by visiting the provided link.
