Manhattan Village to host two New Year’s Eve ball drops

Mayor Mike Adrieansen | Village of Manhattan

The Village of Manhattan is set to celebrate the New Year with two distinct ball drop events on Tuesday, December 31, at 102 S. State Street.

According to event organizers, the festivities will commence at 6 p.m. with the 2nd Annual Irish Family Ball Drop. The town will provide noisemakers and s’mores around a fire for this family-friendly event, allowing families with young children to partake in New Year’s Eve celebrations without staying up late.

At midnight, the village will mark the 25th Anniversary of the Times Square Ball Drop. Residents can watch the iconic ball drop live and join in a communal toast to welcome the new year.

Both events are scheduled to take place in Manhattan Village at 102 S. State Street.
