Manhattan Junior High School's Junior High Girls Basketball team participated in the Regionals on November 16 and 18.
According to the school, Manhattan was the fifth seed in Class 7-4A Regional 5. They were defeated by Chicago Heights Middle School with a score of 16-38.
The eighth graders also took part in the Regionals as the sixth seed in Class 8-4A Regional 5. They lost to Mokena, scoring 11 against Mokena's 46.
The eighth-grade team is coached by Nick Stadter, while Carl Minuth coaches the seventh-grade girls' basketball team.
