A group of student-athletes from LWW have announced their commitments to play sports at the collegiate level. The announcement was made during a signing day event where students shared their future plans in athletics.
The following baseball players have committed to their respective colleges: Lucas Acevedo will attend the University of Illinois-Chicago, Cam Armstrong has chosen Quincy University, Tyler Bartley will head to Rock Valley College, Conor Essenburg is set for the University of Kentucky, Adam Gerl has selected the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Ian Hazelip will join Roosevelt University, and Anthony Vita is committed to Drury University.
In other sports commitments, Aly Kurczak will play softball at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. In volleyball, Elly Decker is headed to Missouri University of Science & Technology and Caroline Smith will attend Drake University.
