Known for his sense of humor, work ethic, and loyalty to friends, Findley was a hard worker who didn't shy away from speaking his mind. He had a passion for old cars, Harley’s, heavy metal music, and Budweiser paraphernalia, and was an animal lover who dedicated time to building shelters and fences for his mother's many pets.
Findley is survived by his wife Christine “Pookie” Findley, son Justin Findley, and uncle Phillip Sylvester, and preceded by his mother, Brenda Findley, and grandparents Russ and Wilma (nee Nixon) Sylvester. Visitation and a service will be held on November 15, 2024, at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home in Manhattan, with prayers and interment to follow on November 16, 2024, at North Providence Ridge Cemetery in Elwood. In lieu of flowers, donations to no-kill animal shelters or cancer centers are welcomed.
