The Manhattan School District 114 Board of Education has initiated the search for a new superintendent for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Cathie Pezanoski, an independent education consultant, has been selected to assist in this process.
The board is seeking input from district staff and community members regarding the qualities desired in the new superintendent. To gather this feedback, an online survey will be available from October 28, 2024, through November 6, 2024. The survey link can be accessed on the district's website starting October 28.
Results from the survey, along with insights from the Board of Education and administration, will contribute to developing a New Superintendent Profile. This profile will be presented at the board's monthly meeting on November 13, 2024.
"The Board of Education looks forward to your support and assistance with this very important responsibility," stated Mr. Brian Anderson, Superintendent Search Liaison. He also encouraged those with questions or comments about the search to contact Ms. Cathie Pezanoski at cpezanoski@manhattan114.org.
"We look forward to your input as we search for a new superintendent to lead Manhattan School District 114," added Mr. John Burke, President of the Manhattan School District 114 Board of Education.
